Come along for fun and games in the great outdoors. Learn about amazing invertebrates, how they help us and how we can help stop their decline?

Have a go at our fun bug themed games, made from recycled materials. Lots of which you could make yourselves when you get home. Who will win the giant wooden snail race? And can you outsmart a spider?

Not forgetting all our usual activities, including a choice of three signposted circular walking trails. You can take your time to explore over 50 acres of woodland rich in wildlife. Children can have a go at our free Nature Challenge which includes a prize for every child.

Say “hello” to our animals here too, from goats and ponies to meerkats and our chatty macaw Tosh, along with the Animal Discovery Zone, where our more exotic animals live. We also offer hourly Keeper Talks with our experienced keepers. You can even help us feed the meerkats at 1pm!

In between all the fun, you can relax and treat yourself in the woodland café and gift shop. There really is something for all ages, including your dog who will be made very welcome too!
