Becky Falls Achieves BIAZA Accredited Status – Upholding World-Class Standards

We’re delighted to announce that Becky Falls Ancient Woodland Park has been officially recognised as BIAZA Accredited Member.

While Becky Falls has proudly been members of the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) for over 10 years, we’re now thrilled to have achieved accredited status under BIAZA’s new, enhanced scheme.

This updated accreditation process goes above and beyond standard zoo licensing requirements, including detailed questionnaires, comprehensive evidence reviews, and on-site screenings by industry experts. It ensures that accredited members meet the world-class standards set by BIAZA for excellence in animal welfare, conservation, education, and research.

As part of our ongoing commitment to conservation, Becky Falls continues to manage and protect our ancient woodland Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), support native species monitoring projects such as dormouse and bat surveys, and deliver engaging education and sustainability initiatives that inspire visitors to care for the natural world.
