MAP OF BECKY FALLS
The Becky Falls Estate and Park
The park has been designated as being an SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) by the Nature Conservancy Council, the government organisation responsible for nature conservation. So we spend a lot of time and effort on our conservation work and keeping things as natural as possible. Where trees or branches fall we leave them where they land and as they naturally start to decompose they provide valuable habitat for small invertebrates, which in turn become food for the wealth of birds, bats and other mammals that thrive in this environment. This is why we ask you stick to the well marked footpaths and be nature conscious and avoid trampling on young, delicate and often rare plants and wildlife.
