BECKY FALLS BECOMES A ZOO

We're delighted to announce that we're now officially a zoo and we're looking forward to getting lots of new creatures for our visitors to meet - so watch this space! In the meantime, we've put together a suggested itinerary to help you plan your day with us. Please note that animal feeding sessions take place every day (weekdays at 12.00 and 3.00pm, with our animal encounter shows taking place at weekends and during bank and school holidays.

10.00 Arrive and collect maps and Nature Trail cards
10.15 Set off on the Blue Walk and collect all the stamps
11.00 Collect your prizes from Gift Shop!
11.30 Meet at the Wishing Well and feed rabbits, ponies, guinea pigs and maybe bottle feed a lamb
12.00 Make your way to the Indoor Theatre for the Cute and Cuddly Animal Encounter Show to meet, you've guessed it, cute and cuddly animals!
12.00 Hungry? Time to get some food from the cafe (lots of yummy food and delicious Devon Cream Teas) or tuck into your picnic either in the Picnic Area or find your very own spot around the walks and waterfalls.
12.45 After lunch, tackle the Red Walk, where you'll see the main waterfall or, if you're feeling really adventurous, why not try the Purple Walk and discover the stunning Lower Falls.
1.45 If you've tried the Red Walk, you should be back in time for our next show, Animal Encounters of the Scary Kind. Ready to get up close and personal with some unusual Dartmoor residents? How about a 12-foot boa constrictor? Or some Giant African Land Snails? Stroking is optional!
2.30 Time to see the babies in the Animal Nursery or make some souvenirs in the Craft Area.
3.00 Meet some very unusual bugs at the Ugly Bug Encounter show. Meet at the Indoor Theatre
3.30 If you missed animal feeding the first time around, now's your chance. Remember to meet at the Wishing Well.
4.00 Any shopping to do in the Gift Shop? Or maybe it's time for an ice cream from the cafe? Or a delicious Devon Cream Tea if you missed it at lunchtime!
5.00 Car park shuts at 5 o'clock so it's time to go home for a well-earned rest!
